Restaurant in Maldives, a popular restaurant with Chinese customers, is now attracting the attention of a large group of Chinese tourists.
According to a report by the The Straits Times, the Maldivians have a love for the Chinese restaurants.
The restaurant is called the Panda Restaurant in La Maldives and it has been open for two years and has become a tourist attraction, the report said.
On Friday, a Chinese businessman from Chengdu, the capital of southwestern China, visited the restaurant and ordered a meal for the staff.
In the past, the restaurant has been owned by Chinese owner Zhang Yong.
Chinese tourists have also come to the restaurant for its famous seafood dishes.
“I’ve never seen such a large number of Chinese coming to the Panda restaurant in La Maledives,” the local news channel reported.
The restaurant was once known as the ‘Maldivian Pandan’, a Chinese restaurant in the same name in the country, according to the reports.
However, it is now known as ‘the Panda Restaurant’ in LaMaledives, The Times reported.
