A wedding planner has warned customers to plan their wedding at a store that is open only during peak times, when the weather can be unforgiving.
Key points:The online booking service is being trialled in VictoriaThe system works by sending emails to customers when the store opens and will send a text message when the service closes.
Customers can then choose the venue of their choice, with the option of booking in person or over the phone.
They can then pay online to reserve their place, or visit a nearby hotel.
Customer service manager Rob Gulland said they would only be able to accept online booking after the system was trialled for the state.
“We are trying to get some feedback from people and see what’s working, and how it works,” he said.
“I think the whole point is we need to make sure people know that it’s a real option.”‘
A real option’Gulland confirmed the service would only work in Victoria for now, but said it would work nationwide.
“It’s a good option because it’s not just limited to Victoria,” he told ABC Radio Melbourne’s Today program.
“You could also do it in a hotel or you could do it online and it’s the same service.”
That would mean you could have the same price point and the same booking options.
“Gullany said the service was currently trialling in the northern state of South Australia and Tasmania.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said the online booking system would not be used to facilitate a walk-in service, which could mean people would have to be booked on the phone to the store.”
Customers who are unable to attend an event in person because they are travelling or if they have a family member or friends that they are unable or unable to accompany will not be able access this service,” a CBP statement said.
Customants will also be required to pay for their own transportation.
Custom’s online booking platform has a wide range of services, including hotel accommodation, accommodation at a restaurant, catering and gift cards.
Custom, a popular online booking site, recently rolled out a digital-only platform to help more than 200,000 people book a wedding in the last two months.
Custom will offer the service to more than 100,000 weddings in Australia.
Custom has been trialling the service for the last three months in Victoria.
Custom said customers who were unable to book online would receive a text-only notification when the booking site opened and would receive an email when the site closed.
Custom could only accept online bookings on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, but it could offer the option to book on Mondays or Tuesdays.
Custom also said it could only allow customers to book for a maximum of 30 days in a calendar year, and could only book online for one wedding.
Custom had been working with the Australian Wedding Convention and the Victoria Wedding Convention.
